Buy a ticket with MMQR

Outcome

You will browse an event on the RushTik storefront, select ticket types or seats, proceed to checkout, pay with an MMQR wallet (KBZ Pay, Wave Pay, AYA Pay, or CB Pay), and receive HMAC-signed digital tickets in your wallet.

Before you start

• Open the storefront at <organiser-slug>.rushtik.app/en in your browser. No login is required.
• Have an MMQR-compatible wallet ready on your phone: KBZ Pay, Wave Pay, AYA Pay, CB Pay, or OK Dollar.
• All prices are integer MMK. The amount shown at checkout is the exact amount you pay.
• If the organiser's prepaid credit balance is 0 MMK, ticket sales are temporarily paused. This is the organiser's responsibility — try again later or contact the organiser.

Steps

1. Browse events

Open the storefront home. Browse the event cards. Toggle the EN/MY language switch in the top bar if you prefer Burmese.

Expected result: the storefront home shows event cards with banners, event names, dates, and "Buy tickets" CTAs. No login prompt appears.

2. Open an event

Tap an event card to open the event detail page.

Expected result: the event detail page renders the banner, bilingual event name, description, date, venue, and the organiser identity card. A row of ticket types shows prices and availability. A "Buy tickets" CTA is visible.

3. Select tickets

If the event has a seat map, tap an available seat (green) on the interactive map. If the event uses zones, use the quantity stepper on a ticket type row to select the number of tickets. Tap Proceed to checkout.

Expected result: selected seats show a "held" state (yellow). A cart summary bar appears at the bottom with a 15-minute countdown timer and the running total in MMK.

4. Review checkout

On the checkout page, review the order summary: ticket type, quantity, and total. Fill in your phone number (required) and optionally your name and email so we can recover your tickets if you lose access.

Expected result: the order summary shows each ticket line with its price and the total in MMK. The phone number field is marked required.

5. Pay with MMQR

Tap Pay with MMQR. The page displays a scannable MMQR code. Open your wallet app (KBZ Pay, Wave Pay, AYA Pay, or CB Pay) and scan the code. Approve the payment in your wallet.

Expected result: the page shows a "Waiting for payment confirmation" spinner. Once the payment settles, the page transitions to a "Payment successful" state with a green checkmark and your order ID.

6. View your tickets

Tap View tickets to open your ticket wallet. Tap a ticket to see its detail.

Expected result: the ticket wallet lists your issued tickets grouped by order. Each ticket detail page shows a large, scannable QR code (the HMAC-signed ticket), the event name, seat or zone, ticket type, face value, and the QR serial. A "Save to phone" button lets you add the ticket to your phone's wallet.

Troubleshooting

• "Ticket sales are temporarily unavailable": the organiser's prepaid credit balance has reached 0 MMK. This is not a problem with your payment — the organiser needs to top up. Try again later or contact the organiser.
• QR code does not scan: ensure your wallet app supports MMQR. All major Myanmar wallets (KBZ Pay, Wave Pay, AYA Pay, CB Pay, OK Dollar) support it. If the QR has expired, return to the event and start checkout again.
• Cart hold expired: the 15-minute hold on your seats has lapsed. Return to the event page and select your seats again.
• Payment succeeded but no tickets appear: wait a moment and refresh the ticket wallet page. Tickets are issued server-side after the payment webhook settles. If tickets still do not appear, use the refund-request page to look up your order by phone number.
• Lost your ticket?: open the refund-request page and use the "Lost your ticket?" link to recover your tickets by phone number or email (see UG-ST-005).
